Digitalization and connectivity are shaping entrepreneurial behavior and consumer shopping behavior in an increasing amount of industries. This creates pressure for each player in the industries to critically question and adapt their business structure. Since the end of the 1990’s, companies have consistently been confronted with new technology- driven opportunities and challenges. This is the main focus of the CCEC’s work. In particular, the CCEC deals with economic analyses of the ongoing developments in this environment and operates at the interface of research and practice to develop innovative concepts for corporate e-commerce and e-business issues in cooperation with its partners.
